Paralegal Services Starting at $140/hour.

All flat-fee services include all related client and USPTO correspondence.

USPTO Trademark Filings

$75 flat fee per filing- Extension of time to respond to office action, express abandonment of an application

$100 flat fee per filing- Intent-to-use application extension requests, filing of prepared assignment and change in correspondence information requests.

$150 flat fee per filing- Statements of use, non-substantive office action responses, voluntary amendments, California State trademark applications and renewals.

$250 flat fee per filing— Drafting and filing of assignment document.

$300 flat fee per filing- Preparation and filing of word mark applications; preparation and filing of WIPO based foreign applications.

$350 flat fee per filing- Preparation and filing of design mark applications; preparation and filing post registration filings (renewals and declarations of use).

*Additional $75 per additional class for Statements of Use, Applications, and Post Registration Filings.

Trademark Docketing

$50 flat fee per mark — Internal docketing of trademark deadlines and notifying attorney of upcoming deadlines as needed; ongoing monitoring marks via USPTO. Includes monthly report of mark status to send to client.

Trademark Search Assistance

$400 flat fee — Conduct preliminary knockout trademark search via USPTO and Internet resources, prepare preliminary report for attorney’s handling.

$650 flat fee — Run full trademark clearance search and prepare preliminary report for attorney’s handling. Full clearance search includes independent trademark search via USPTO as well as Markify report of U.S. and State trademark records, common law usage, and business records.

*Unless a problematic mark is immediately flagged, then search will be billed on an hourly basis.

Preparation and Filing of Foreign Trademarks

$140/hour — Preparation of trademark applications or renewals in foreign countries via direct correspondence with counsel in the country of client’s choosing; handling correspondence and document requests, reporting of same to client.

Trademark Trial and Appeal Board 

$140/hour— Preparation and filing of extensions of time to oppose a trademark, preparation of notice of opposition for attorney review; filing any requisite documents for a new or ongoing proceeding.

Trademark Monitoring Service (Enforcement)

$200 flat fee per mark per year— Monitoring the USPTO for infringing use of a client’s trademark or brand.

Other Services

Entity Formation

$300 flat fee— Prepare and file Articles of Organization or Incorporation in Secretary of State; file EIN request with IRS.

$100 flat fee— Prepare and file Statement of Information.

Filing Copyrights

$150 flat fee per copyright— Preparation and filing of a copyright application with the Copyright Office.

Miscellaneous

$140/hourly rate —Should you require a paralegal for any other work, we will bill at our hourly rate.
